Ballon Stoll Bader & Nadler. P.C. is not the firm for everyone. Our professional standards are
extremely high, and we expect all of our counsellors -- regardless of seniority -- to perform at that level. We expect all our counsellors to handle significant responsibility for our clients' work.
There is no typical Ballon Stoll counsellor. We recruit lawyers from a wide
range of educational backgrounds and with diverse experience. There are, however, common attributes we look for when evaluating applicants:
- Intellect
- Work ethic
- People skills
- Integrity
When we evaluate applicants, we look at the following criteria: academic performance in law school; non-law graduate and undergraduate academic performance; work experience; extracurricular and non-work related activities; and presentation, including resume, interviews, cover letters and writing samples. The importance of each criterion will vary based on an applicant's status as a student, judicial clerk, JD/MBA or lateral applicant.
