Michael H. Du Boff joined Ballon Stoll’s Litigation, Corporate and Securities and Commercial Arbitration Departments in 2016.  Prior to Ballon Stoll, Mr. Du Boff was a partner with Snow, Beecker & Krauss, Davidoff Hutcher & Citron and Hahn & Hessen. Mr Du Boff was a Senior Trial Assistant District Attorney in the Office of the District Attorney of Bronx County.


Mr. Du Boff has an extensive practice in both State & Federal litigation commercial and securities matters as well as arbitration and transactional matters having handled hundreds of arbitrations before the American Arbitration Association and FINRA Dispute Resolution Services and The New York Stock Exchange. He has represented banks, broker/dealers, registered representatives, investors, customers, factors, printers, sales representatives and companies involved in a wide variety of industries.

Mr. Du Boff serves as President of the Lawyers Association of the Textile and Apparel Industries; General Counsel to the American Polyolefin Association; General Counsel; and serves on the Panel of Arbitrators of FINRA Dispute Resolution Trustee of Soundview Academy. He served on the Arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution and Uniform Laws Committees of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York; the Commercial Litigation Section of the New York State Bar Association; Commercial Law Division of the American Bar Association; and the Compliance and Legal Division of the Securities Industry Association; and received the Service Appreciation Award from the American Arbitration Association.

Mr. Du Boff is an avid photographer traveling all over the world to photograph the native people, their way of life, their villages and towns as well as wildlife and spectacular scenes of nature and other beauty.
